The procedures for membership and withdrawal of membership stated in (3) of Article 4 of Articles of the Association are as follows.
(1) For membership in this association, the completed application form provided by the JACNS must be submitted to the secretariat accompanied by payment of the annual membership dues.
(2) To withdraw from the association, a member must submit the withdrawal form provided by the JACNS to the secretariat. Recognition by the JACNS secretariat of membership withdrawal will follow.
The annual membership dues stated in (1) of Article 13 of the Articles of Association are detailed below.
(1) The annual membership dues of full-membership are \7,000; for patron-membership, \3,000.
(2) The dues shall be spent for such activities as general meetings, executive-board meetings, administrative meetings, and committee meetings.
(3) The amount of dues shall be decided in general meeting after approval by the executive-board.
(4) For Certified Nurse Specialists who apply for membership from Jan. through March of the current fiscal year during which the CNS Certification Examination was passed, the membership dues of the remaining period of said fiscal year will be exempted. The same dues exemption will be applied to those patron-members applying for full-member status.
By-laws may be revised by a vote of two-thirds or more of the full-members.
